Strathmore School is a happy, thriving, oversubscribed and growing special school for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities.
They have asked us to help with their sensory garden. It needs clearing up and cleaning ready for the children who attend to use the space.
This task is a great first-time task for anyone looking to find out what GoodGym is all about. Tools will be provided but if you have your own gardening gloves and a head torch, please bring them along.
We will be meeting at the Tap Tavern in Richmond town centre at 6.45pm to make the 2 miles/3.5km run to the task. All paces are welcome and we will have a backmarker so that noone runs alone and noone gets lost. The Tap kindly let us use a secure space to leave bags if you have anything you don't want to run with.
You are also very welcome to make your own way to the task location by bike or otherwise, please just let Liz know beforehand so we know not to wait for you at the Tap. If you are meeting at the task, the start time is 7.15pm and the address is Strathmore School at Grey Court Campus, Ham St, TW10 7HN.

Really sorry everyone but the caretaker at the school is signed off sick and can't open up the school next Monday.
Ken has stepped in at late notice to say we can continue our hedgerow-laying task so we will be there next Monday instead. Please sign yourself up for that as usual if you can make it as this task will be cancelled.
