Holy Trinity Church Tulse HillTonight we are super excited to be partnering with our friends at Holy Trinity to put on a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing film!
The National Emergency Briefing (NEB) exists to help create a social tipping point towards a government-led, prime-time televised national emergency briefing, on the climate and nature crisis, introduced by the Prime Minister and delivered by trusted independent experts. Like the public briefings during the Covid pandemic, it would give everyone access to clear, authoritative information about the risks we face, the opportunities ahead, and the actions needed to protect Britain’s future.
The People’s Emergency Briefing film, together with the communities that screen it, is the catalyst for that ambition.
The aim is simple: screenings everywhere, for everyone.
Each screening is followed by a facilitated discussion, creating a calm, inclusive and non-judgemental civic space where people can engage with the evidence, connect locally, and build a shared sense of understanding and practical agency.
So get yourself signed up for this one and come help out in making this a fantastic evening! Help us set up, facilitate and tidy away and of course stay for the screening itself.
Please note we may need to run early this evening to be there in time - keep an eye on the listing and the WhatsApp group!
