Our Mission - For every person in Sheffield to approach later life with independence, dignity, and a sense of wellbeing; and for Age UK Sheffield to be recognised as a vital part of Sheffield’s infrastructure in support of the needs of the city’s older people.

In order for Age UK Sheffield to participate in the Sheffield Half Marathon, we need runners, marshals, cheerers along the route and people to help our runners get ready at the Age UK Sheffield station in the Events Village. The Sheffield Half Marathon could be the biggest fundraising event for Age UK Sheffield of the year!

Sheffield Half Marathon attracts thousands of runners and spectators to Sheffield and the Peak District and raises many thousands of pounds for good causes. Could you be a volunteer to line the route, help out at drinks stations or provide support at the Events Village for runners and helpers? From 7.30am - 1pm on the day. You will have full instructions and a t-shirt and take part in a worthwhile and exciting community event! GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
