Lockdown Frolic

Time for a team run!

Fancy a socially distanced virtual running (or walking) event? Then this is perfect for you.

The event:
* Over a 12 hour period 8am to 8pm you do as much running OR walking as you want. You do not have to start at 8am but you must be done by 8pm.
* You can create your own informal teams and run as a relay.
* You can run in a social distanced way and don’t have to be in the same area, county or even country.
* It's a Treasure Hunt, and the more creative you are the better: You take photos while on your run of “treasures on the list”. The list will be published a 07.00 am on the Saturday of the race via email and social media….best photo will win prizes.

Full info is on the White Star Running website here.
You can enter here.

Entry cost is £20 per person. All participants will receive a wooden woodland animal medal of your choice, a discount from White Star Clothing, a Squeakie toy baton and a woodland animal buff to compliment your medal.

If the weather is co-operating and COVID-19 guidelines allow we hope to be able to run or walk some of the event in small groups in Oxford. Details to follow on this if it seems feasible nearer the time.

Don't delay - enter asap. The White Star Running Events are really popular and sell out fast.

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
