Looking after the River Cray

We’ll be working along side Thames 21 to try and get rid of the Himalayan Balsam that grows along side the river.

What to bring: Appropriate long sleeve clothing as we will be working around nettles and spikey plants, please bring water and a lunch. It is advisable to have a hat and wear sunscreen. All other equipment will be provided.

Facilities on the day: Bexley Cricket Club have kindly agreed to allow use of their toilet facilities on the day, and somewhere to stop and take a lunch break along the route. Refreshments will be provided on the day to all volunteers 🙌🏻

We’ll be meeting at 10.00 and finishing at 14.00 Meet Location:- Water Lane - off North Cray Road Meeting at the bottom of Water Lane Next to the Cray River DA14 5EJ Hope to see some of you there 👊🏻😊
