Date and time
18:45 - 20:15
Friday, 17th of April 2026

Easy going social run with the Wirral Social Runs running group across the sands from West Kirby beach to beautiful Hilbre Island, catching the evening sunset over Wales and the sea before running back to West Kirby. This is a really friendly group to run with and the run is well marshalled with back markers to ensure no one gets left behind.

We will meet at 18.45 and the run itself will start at 19.00 and usually lasts just over an hour. We will warm up with the rest of the runners before heading out.

The start and end point of the run is located 5 mins walk from West Kirby train station (W3W ref: https://what3words.com/scooters.pegged.films, West Kirby, Wirral CH48 4DZ), trains to and from Liverpool are every 30 minutes.

The run is across wet sand so your shoes will get wet and salty, so please wear shoes and clothes you don't mind getting getting wet and sandy! The weather can change quite quickly so please bring a waterproof layer in case of a downpour. A change of shoes and socks may also be a good idea.
