Met with the task leader Lorena, a volunteer Chris and a service user from the SHP at the allotments. The service user had been previously had done a good job of fixing the shed roof, he now turned his attention to fixing the drainage system to the water butts and then set about straightening up the fences along the sides which had clearly previously been used by people bunking in to the allotments. Meanwhile Lorena and I cleared a load of rubbish from inside the shed and some junk which other “kindly” allotment holders had dumped next to the shed which Chris loaded into his car to take away. Once packed away we had a little chat about future tasks and went on our way.
