Two GoodGymers came out in the frosty -4°C temperature to help the Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers continue their mission to reveal the ancient lynchets of Bradgers Hill. That's the system of iron age man-made terraced fields on the steep hillside there.

We were cutting back small trees to extend the grassland, making space for wildflowers and grassland habitat, while leaving the nice large trees in place. Opening up the dense undergrowth also reveals the structure of the archaeological features and makes the area a nicer place to take a walk.
