Date and time
11:30 - 15:00The Choir With No Name runs choirs across the UK for people who are homeless or at risk. The Liverpool choir has over 60 members who meet every week for a rehearsal and to share a hot meal together (cooked by their fabulous volunteers)
Before covid they would perform up to 18 times a year, at high profile events and venues around the UK and local community events and celebrations too. Throughout this period of lockdowns etc they have worked around the clock to support their members and keep everyone safe, healthy and entertained!
We helped out at their previous gig for World Homeless Day in October and are back to support them again for their Christmas event.
//The Task
The choir need some joyful volunteers to come and help with set up, help the team at the Bombed Out Church with the audience, and to shake a bucket with a friendly face to help the choir make the most of the fundraising opportunities! Anyone who signs up for this will also be able to see the gig for free as a thank you from the choir (and it's really good fun!)
If you want to see more about the choirs work during lockdown you can watch a 12 minute documentary short called Hidden produced and filmed by two students from LIPA
(Full transparency, your Area Activator - Ema Quinn, is also the manager of the Liverpool Choir With No Name and the taskforce team have agreed this would be a lovey community mission to do again!)

What to look out for
Age Restriction
GoodGym welcomes anyone aged 18 or over. If you are under 18 then you will be unable to participate in any GoodGym activity
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety when running and at a task.
Ema I’m helping tomorrow but my son’s entire social circle have tested positive in the last day or so and I’m obviously worried he could be carrying it. Should I skip this one to be safe?
I will give him an LFT in the morning and I will do one also if you think this is acceptable? 😊
Hi Helen, I've just sent you an email xx
