Who this task will support
Merton's Community Fridge
Sustainable Merton is proud to bring to you Merton’s Community Fridge, which aims to redistribute to the Merton community surplus food from local businesses and food growers, ultimately stopping tonnes of good quality food from going to waste.

We will be supporting the team at Merton's Community Fridge with deep cleaning the storage area at Morden Baptist church and sorting/organising items and other jobs to support the distribution team. There will be a variety of tasks, suitable for those new to GoodGym and regulars so come prepared the get stuck in and let us know if any adjustments (eg you prefer to avoid heavy lifting, etc) are needed.

For those that would like to walk/run to the session as a group, the meeting point at 6.30pm is The Leather Bottle, 277 Kingston Rd, London SW19 3NW - distance will be 2-3km each way, returning after the session (finishing at 8pm). However we encourage you to walk/run/cycle to the session if you are meeting there at 7pm (address in listing) and get your km's on the board for the January challenge.

On arrival please come to the back entrance door which is accessible from the car park at the rear of the church (entrance on Grasmere Avenue).

On arrival ask for Saeeda (Community Fridge Coordinator). Merton Community Fridge is located in Morden Baptist Church. Please come to the back entrance door which is accessible from the car park at the rear of the church (entrance on Grasmere Avenue) unless you arrive early (in which case you may need to enter via the main hall).
