Tonight, we took on a fresh challenge at a new location: Morden Park Baptist Church. We dived straight into the kitchen, emptying cupboards and scrubbing every inch. Our efficiency was so high that we even had time to tackle both halls, clearing away the cobwebs and giving every surface a thorough clean.
Seeing three spaces completely transformed in under an hour is incredibly rewarding - especially since we were down a few regulars and a small group.
A huge well done to the team and a massive welcome to Zahrah on her very first session. We hope to see you back for another mission very soon.

It was a full house for tonight's group session as 14 GoodGymers descended upon Little ARK to help. With a varied list of tasks including shifting furniture and folding reels of fabric, the main challenge was navigating the bags and boxes across three rooms and a hallway!
We tackled the space like true professionals, working mostly in smaller groups to ensure everything was moved safely and the fabric was folded to perfection. It was a masterclass in logistics and teamwork.
A huge welcome to our two newest members, Ahsan and Lisa - we hope to see you again soon. We were also joined by Rob, a seasoned GoodGym veteran - welcome back.
The little ARK space had been transformed. Well done, team!

Arriving early with two pairs of hands meant we made light work of the setup, flying through the to-do list in record time. Between all the chair lifting and room prepping, it turned into a fantastic end-of-day workout for a great cause.

We can't keep away from the Community Fridge, or at least not while there are lots of jobs to do! The evening's remit, after running to the task, was to sort food according to date and pack it into labelled boxes. Meanwhile, the rest of the team set about cleaning and tidying the church kitchen. We totally nailed both jobs, before making our way to the pub for a well-earned social. As well as relaxing over a beer we surprised Jade by presenting her with her trophy for Goodgym's Sean Coxhead Inspiring Individual Award. Congratulations to Jade and a big welcome to first-timers Carmen and John, as well as Goodgym tourist Louise from Islington. On a sadder note, we said goodbye to Rob but hopefully he will visit us when he's down in London.

This was an extra (January challenge booster) group session. The aim was to deep clean the kitchen at the Martin Way Methodist Church, home to the Open Table and soon to become a night shelter. Gloves at the ready, six of us faithfuls set about cleaning behind the fridge, wiping down surfaces, sorting drawers and cupboards, hoovering, mopping and anything else that could be completed within the hour. The sparkling results spoke for themselves! As the clock struck the hour we departed into the night, excited to catch the next episode of The Traitors...
