The Hands Up Foundation and the Syrian Sunflower Kitchen are putting on a special Syrian Supper Club to raise funds for communities affected by the Turkey Syria earthquakes. On the 6th February, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Turkish Syrian border, killing 52,000, and leaving thousands more left injured or without homes. Whole families (three generations-worth in some cases) have been wiped out, while the world has been turned upside down for the survivors. It is these people who need our support. This Syrian Supper provides a tangible way for you to help us do that.
The organisation is looking for volunteers for the evening to help raise as much money as possible. Roles will include helping in the kitchen, a dishwasher, waiters, bar tenders (will only be wine / beer / softs, no fancy stuff), Door person / ticket collector, porter / runner .
If you can't stay the whole night certain roles can be divided up into shifts so we will try our best to make it work for you!
Your help will be so appreciated and will make a big difference in a very tangible way for an important cause. Thank you!
