We Run Ealing
WE RUN EALING is the charitable arm of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon. We deliver community-focused running initiatives, many of which are free and open to people of all abilities. Previously known as EHM Legacy, thanks to Ealing Half Marathon, we have done heaps of stuff over the last ten years to help get people moving in Ealing. We have had installed a new drinking fountain installed Lammas Park – popular with humans and dogs! During lockdown we arranged events to encourage Ealing residents to run or walk to dozens of local parks. More recently we have brought the Blended Trails trail-running concept to Ealing and launched Ealing’s first ever Food Bank Run, in partnership with GoodGym and parkrun.

Every year the streets of Ealing are blessed with one of the finest races in the country - The Ealing Half Marathon!

It’s part of the We Run Ealing charity which means all the profits from the race are poured back into the local community. That means when it comes to putting the race together it’s a real volunteer effort to make it happen!

That’s where we come in!

Join us this Tuesday night to help take down some of the race signs along the route. We’ll meet at our usual spot at Bodyline Studios at 6:45pm for a social run to a section of the half marathon route (details of where to follow). When we get there, we'll split into teams to take down signs along our section of the course.

Equipment and instructions will be provided, but bring a headtorch if you have one - the nights are coming sooner!

It should take no longer than 1 hour and you’ll have done an great deed for the week!

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 5km and 8km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
