Brown BooksBrown Books is a community-run second-hand bookshop in Hightown and the only dedicated book shop in Luton.
The bookshop is hosting Authorfest in November, a celebration of local authors and artists and there's a programme of half-term activities to promote as well. So our task will be to take to the streets of Hightown and deliver flyers letting the local residents know about all the events and encourage them to come along.
We'll meet as normal on the Bute Street stage opposite the hat factory, have a very short run to collect the flyers from the Bricklayers Arms pub, and then we'll keep on moving, delivering the flyers all over the area. When we're done, Maz has invited us to finish our evening with a round of drinks on the house back at the pub.
