7 Goodgymmers ran the short distance to Russell Park in Wood Green to lend a hand at Russell's Hub as they get ready for their grand opening.

L4t00ya! Good Times! Come on!

Tonight we celebrated Super Latoya who has pulled, scrubbed, planted, lifted, shopped, chopped, chatted, and all around smashed her way to 400 tasks! You can definitely picture a reality in the multiverse where Latoya lives happily ever after without GGH in her life, but you'd be hard pressed to find any reality where GGH could be anywhere near recognisable without Latoya in it. Hero! We <3 You...

Also, special mention for Speedy Charlie who smashed his half marathon PB over the weekend and provided today's pun. The ultimate MVP <3

And last, but in no way least, Happy Birthday to our in-house doctor/agony aunt/smutty Irish comrade Niamh. Have a smashing weekend <3

Screwing Around

The lovely folk at Russell's Hub are getting ready for their grand opening later this month and they needed our help painting one of their toilets and putting up some signs.

Our team ran through the wet night and before you knew it, they were painting the walls and chatting away without a care in the world - so much so, that there were some spilt paint shenanigans but nothing that our trusted protagonists couldn't sort among themselves.

Halfway through the evening, our squad of Picassos splintered and a sub-group got on with the task of putting up the signs. Or at least they tried. We didn't have the right equipment but that didn't stop our Goodgymmers from giving it a good go. After a lot of screwing around and some frankly very blue double entendre, we had to admit defeat on this bit of the task and promised to come back when the right tools are sourced to finish the job.

By then, the toilet was a whiter shade of pale so we sorted the brushes and piled into the hub for the aforementioned celebrations.

Afterwards, everyone rejected Gramps' offer of Easter eggs and his heartbreak must've been evident as both Nurjehan and Louise jumped into action take some for "other people". For shame, what would baby bunny Jaysus say?
