Cardiff Foodbank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Cardiff Foodbank is inviting corporate teams to volunteer at our Winter Supermarket Food Drives on 26th, 27th and 28th November.

We are picking the 28th 12pm until 2pm...you will need to be available for the whole 2 hours for this mission.

Every year, we organise food drives at local supermarkets to collect essential food donations for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity across Cardiff. Volunteering involves handing out lists of our most-needed items to shoppers and thanking those who donate.

Supermarkets account for over 60% of all Foodbank donations, and our food drives can quadruple what would usually be collected, if not more! Having your team there as a visible presence in stores makes a huge difference, encouraging donations and helping us collect more essential items for those who need them most.
