Get Rid Of & DonateGet Rid Of And Donate (GROAD) do amazing work ensuring unused items that are donated by the public is offered a a second or even third life. During the Sunday afternoon session, GoodGym & GROAD volunteers collect donations and set up the Open House at St. Faith's Community Centre (near North Dulwich station).
On Monday, the Open House is design so that these items (up to a certain amount per person) are taken for FREE to members of the public that sign up. They could be asylum seekers, refugees, vulnerable and elderly people and families, but they need this extra support especially during the cost of living crisis.
If you have an hour spare on a Monday, whether it's a day off or during your late lunch break, your assistance would be greatly appreciated to help with the distribution, sort out the remaining donations and close the Open House.
There will be a member of the GROAD team present.
