Derbyshire Cricket - Parkinson's Cricket
Support people living with Parkinson's through a new accessible cricket project

We've been invited by The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation to help them with their new accessible cricket project 'Parkinson's Cricket.'
The emphasis of the sessions is on having fun and being active in a social way with all cricket-themed activities being held indoors, such as batting, fielding, throwing, and catching.
Volunteers are needed to help with some low level exercises and for a hot drink and chat with participants after the session finishes. You do not need to know how to play cricket to be a valued addition to helping out at one of these sessions.
There is parking directly outside the building, which is all on one level and wheelchair friendly.

Helping people in Derby to get fit by doing good
Cancelling this session as we don't have any signups from task force, a couple of current TF members have volunteered at these sessions previously and feel a member of TF/well seasoned volunteer is best going along or these sessions should only be run when the two TF members who have been before are in attendance. This is due to the amount the task owner has to do themselves to facilitate the session on their own and that briefing a volunteer completely new to GoodGym and these sessions would be a lot to ask of the task owner in addition to setting up and facilitating the session.
We have another date for this session already listed with the two TF members signed up as they are available on the other date :)
