Dasher through the rein

Monday 1st December

Written by Gwyn Williams

Tracey and Gwyn met the Monday Mates on a wet day at the cricket ground. Fortunately, there was no Donner or Blitzen. The weather didn't stop a record number of people Cometing to the event. There was a lovely bingo session along with the presentation, with many prizes. The best prizes though were the smiles of the participants.

Tracey and Gwyn met Alex and the happy crowd at DCF's Monday Mates for a special gathering. Lovely people from the Hindu Temple came with great chat, an informative presentation about Diwali, celebrated this month, and delicious food. One of the participants with dementia said "I can't remember why I came here but I've really enjoyed myself". That's a mark of success!
