For the 2026 Brighton Marathon weekend (taking place on April 11-12, 2026), a few dedicated "Green Teams" , organised by Leave No Trace Brighton and The Green Runners, will actively "plog" (jog and pick up litter) along the 26.2-mile route. This initiative aims to remove dropped gel sachets, cups, and other waste, following a successful 5K community plogging event held in February 2026 to promote sustainability.

The GoodGym - Brighton plogging team 2 will gather on Saturday at The Village Green in Preston Park, Brighton, BN1 6HN, on Saturday for a meet up and a 1 mile run (12pm - 3pm). We will then plog for 10 Km the day after, on Sunday Marathon's day 12th April, btw 12:15 to 14:15 ish from from Drinking Station 4 in North side of Marine Parade, j/w Grafton Street to Drinking Station 5 in North Side of Madeira Drive in line with Atlingworth Street.

Happy GoodGym-ing during Brighton Marathon event(s)
