A fantastic turnout in Warwick for the Earls Meadow mission, where GoodGymers teamed up with Leam Trash Friends to give this green space a proper refresh.
Armed with litter pickers, bags, and plenty of enthusiasm, the team spread out across surrounding areas, tackling everything from everyday rubbish to some more stubborn surprises.
💥 What we achieved 🔴 Collected an impressive 27 sacks of litter 🔴 Cleared a wide range of fly-tipped items, including a wheel, shower tray, gas cylinder, two bike wheels, and plenty of other dumped debris ☣️ Safely removed 3 canisters, helping make the area safer for everyone 🌱 Why it matters
Earls Meadow is a valued local space, and this session made a visible difference. From clearing hazardous waste to restoring the natural beauty of the area, every bag filled helped create a cleaner, safer environment for the community.
🙌 Community effort
A big shoutout to everyone who joined in to lend a hand. Every contribution counted, and the impact was clear to see by the end.
Great work team—doing good and getting it done 💪

Great work from the team today getting properly stuck in across the Gardens 💪
Despite a rainy start, spirits stayed high—and as luck would have it, the clouds cleared and things dried up just in time for us to really get going. Classic British weather, but it didn’t slow us down one bit.
This was a joyful, high-energy session with a brilliant mix of familiar faces and new joiners coming together to make a difference. Across the morning we:
🧹 Swept paths back to life 🌱 Tackled weeds along the edges 🗑️ Litter picked to keep the space clean and welcoming ✨ Gave the whole area a proper refresh
A huge thank you to first timers Priya & Freya who brought the energy and to Holy Trinity Leamington for the much-appreciated coffee ☕
And of course… no Top Park Tidy task is complete without a reward—peanut butter & dark choc chip cookies were very well earned and appreciated 🍪
Top effort all round 💚

This weekend, GoodGymers headed to Foundry Wood ready to tackle a prickly problem and we weren’t branching out when we said we meant business.
Armed with loppers, gloves, and plenty of enthusiasm, the team got stuck into clearing overgrown pathways of brambles and stubborn weeds. Bit by bit, we transformed tangled trails into welcoming walkways, making it easier (and far less scratchy!) for visitors to explore the wood.
But we didn’t stop at ground level. Overhead, low-hanging branches were carefully trimmed back to open up the space and make sure everyone can roam freely without ducking and dodging.
It was a proper team effort, with great energy throughout and plenty of satisfying before-and-after moments. The difference was clear: safer, more accessible paths and a woodland that feels open, cared for, and ready to be enjoyed.
Another brilliant session supporting a fantastic local green space, proof that many hands really do make light (and slightly less spiky) work 🌿
Not forgetting the Pizza making for a well earned lunch after all the hard work
Until next time… let’s keep paving the way!

This morning I cycled 2.5 miles over to Mrs L’s house, ready to tackle an overgrown lawn.
After getting stuck in and giving the grass a good cut, her garden is now much more manageable and safer for her to move around and enjoy 🌱
The effort was well rewarded with a lovely cup of tea and a chat with Mrs L — always one of the best parts of a mission ☕😊 A simple task that makes a real difference. Then it was 2.5 miles back on the bike to round off a great bit of GoodGym goodness 💪 Total: 5 miles cycled + 1 happy garden!

GoodGym Warwick & Leamington turned up the community spirit (and the step count) with a focused hour of action in Top Park—proof that small bursts of effort can make a big visual difference.
[Lourdes] & I teamed up with Friends of Christchurh & In just 60 minutes, the team got stuck into:
🌱 Weeding the path edges, clearing out weeds and restoring clean lines 🧹 Sweeping pathways, leaving the park tidier and more welcoming
What started as a slightly overgrown stretch quickly transformed into a neat, cared-for space that everyone can enjoy. The difference was immediate—and very satisfying.
Beyond the task itself, it was a classic GoodGym session: friendly faces, a shared purpose, and that post-task buzz that comes from doing something tangible for the local community. Served up with some beautiful flapjacks and well earned coffee
Top work from everyone involved 💚

The weather favoured Goodgym and the friendly volunteers at Foundry Wood. A wildlife haven in the middle of Leamington Spa, we quickly got to work to clear the paths from the plants and weeds growing now that the warmer weather has appeared.
We cleared the pond of sticks thrown in by visitors and could see the many insects and creatures that make the pond their home more clearly, there were plenty of newts!
There were volunteers of all ages and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. As we were busy raking, pulling weeds, and trimming back the vegetation, there was pizza being made for after our session.
Overall, it was a lovely day and as we walked back through the paths we could really see a difference. Well done, everyone!
