What a great turn out today with 5 volunteers supporting parkrun.

Pam and Harsha were Time Keeping makin sure the runners time are recorded accurately. Adam was marshalling and cheering runners on. Manjit was co Run Director supporting one of our DofE. David and Sut were Tail Walkers behind the youngest child age 4.

Sheila and Sarah helped out the local Wildlife Trust at Haymill nature reserve on a very warm day. Our task was to cut back the brambles and nettles, to stop them encroaching the path. Luckily we were mostly in the shade, as it was pretty hot in the sun. Sightings of a frog, and hearing the bark of a Muntjac deer reminded us of what a haven this is for wildlife in the middle of an urban environment

A great effort by Agnija, Clare and Mansoor this morning as they helped Raggy Road Allotments by clearing an area to get it ready for woodchips and generally get it looking good for the allotment users to use.
