I love this concept as it involves my two favourite things getting fit and helping others. It's wonderful to get people together and get to know the community.

So much litter along the walk to school so this morning decided to clean up. With Manjit and Nisha we got out the litter pickers and cleaned the area outside the school and along the walk where all the school are gathering. Collected a comment of big bags and got lots of parents thanking us for the deed. Hopefully we can get a few volunteers to help us next time

Four good gymers met at Upton Court Park and walked to Eton for coffee and cake before returning to litter pick the park. A lovely morning spent catching up, walking in beautiful surroundings and coffee and cake treats all round.

The final task of our January Challenge as we all smashed it! 135 good deeds done and dusted!
Well done to everyone who did something good for Slough. Be it litter picks with your little ones, food bank donations or phone calls to the elderly
Now lets enjoy February

After our junior parkrun shift we carried on doing our good deeds by litter picking the park. Again we had a parkrun family get involved which is always great to see.
Another 4 bags of rubbish were collected. Plenty of drinking bottles, takeway wrappers as well as a tinnie tiny Ted Baker shoe. We didn't throw this as the little owner may return - just like Cinders....

Another fresh Sunday morning as we work our way through the January challenge and get in as many sessions as we can.
This morning we had 6 members wrap up warm as we did our junior parkrun duties.
We had Harsha on RD duties, whilst Sandy, Pam and Ruth were on marshalling and I was on tail walker duty. Always great fun helping the youngsters safely get round the 2km course!
The team at junior parkrun have a container in the tennis courts area which is normally easy to open but the closure is always a little bit tricky! But lucky for us we had King of the containers Ciaran there to help!
A huge well done to Pam for achieving her 350th good deed and then her 351st on the litter pick task afterwards! Great effort
