Reading mail for Mrs J, who is severely sight impaired (wk1)
Not being able to read her mail leaves Mrs J feeling anxious, isolated, and unsure about important correspondence. She used to get help from a Blind Aid volunteer but they no longer have any in her area so she has been left without support. Having a volunteer read her mail to her will restore her sense of control, reduce stress, and help her stay on top of essential information.

Moving a Fridge Freezer and hooking shower curtain for Mr G (wk1)
Mr G's spinal stenosis makes standing agonising, leaving him housebound. He moves around his flat by gently bouncing on an exercise ball because it’s too painful to stand or walk. With his additional heart conditions, even small tasks are overwhelming. A little help from a GoodGym volunteer would make a huge difference.

Before GoodGym I always lost motivation to stick at running or the gym but now I run two or three times a week.
Running with GoodGym is great because I get fit, do good and get to hang with a load of awesome people.
