As part of London Climate Action Week, GoodGym are teaming up for a citizen science session and community run at Cuckoo Park Tiny Forest ๐ณ๐๐
London Climate Action Week brings together communities, charities, and organisations across the city to take action for a greener and healthier future โ and this is our chance to get involved locally.
You donโt need to be a scientist to help measure biodiversity. Join us for a simple, guided survey in your local Tiny Forest, where weโll be counting pollinators, bugs and butterflies. Your observations feed into real scientific research tracking how these forests support nature in urban areas. Learn more about the Tiny Forest here.

GoodGym is a wonderful initiative
Professor Lord Richard Layard
Tiny Forest is a dense fast-growing native woodland of 600 trees planted densely in a tennis-court size plot, maximising benefits per m2 of land. The proponents, Earthwatch, engage with local communities to plant, maintain and monitor their forest over time. The forests reconnect people with nature and raise awareness of climate change.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
