About the task

Tonight we’re off to Battersea’s oldest church, St Mary’s.

The beautiful space right by the river is managed by volunteers so we will be helping with various jobs including weeding and clearing.

Join us for a lovely task at the same church William Blake got married and Turner painted the water!

Please bring gloves if you have them. Feel free to run with us at 18:30 or meet us directly at St Mary's at 18:50.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anastasia Hancock (she/her) by email at ana@goodgym.org.

The total distance of this group run is 5km.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
