Area Activator for Bristol Loves being outdoors and being active, helping make the world a happier place to be one day at a time. Eats cake.
It's Tuesday so it's a group run (and walk), meeting in (and returning to) Workout on Welsh Back - gloves are normally needed biting insects are hungry - insect repellent recommended - you have been warned!
We’re helping weed and tidy around the Southville Centre by manually weeding so Bristol Waste don’t use pesticides on the area. This is the Southville Centre NOT the Southbank Centre - initial target is Howard Road so nice and close.
Changing facilities, lockers and loos are available at Workout Harbourside - bring your own padlock as Workout aren’t lending them anymore. Otherwise it’s just an er. We’re meeting outside Workout unless it’s raining (then it’s inside Workout) and leave just before 6.30 so aim to arrive at 6.20
We’ll be popping into ClubHaus at Workout for a drink after the run/walk - pot of tea, pint of cider, whatever takes your fancy, plus lots of chat - lovely!

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Melanie Young (she/her) by email at melanie@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 3km and 5km in total.
Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
