Four Goodgymers (Beth, Fiona, Ivy and Chris) joined Councilor Abdal Ullah, representatives from Lower Regents Coalition and local residents to spend two hours litter picking around Wapping Green and Wapping Gardens. Featuring a small cameo from Tower Hamlets Mayor John Biggs, the group split up either side of Wapping Lane to collect over twenty bags of rubbish.

Kudos to the landlord of Turner's Old Star who saw us struggling to pick up cigarette butts outside his pub and came and swept them up - community peer pressure in action! Councilor Abdal is keen to engage with Goodgym on a number of tasks around Wapping so watch this space for more opportunities to get involved....
