Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by StephDucat
Friday Hub and 3 regular goodgymers joined forces at the Crypt. Steph was early and helped unload the food delivered by CIty Harvest and The Felix Project. Meanwhile Jacquie was on duty at the tea station after helping at the grocerybag area. Roberta started with bagging grocery bags before joining the dining service team. Today Arul was in the kitchen and everybody was curious with the stirring going on in the kitchen. Steph didnot need to go to the gym for a pump up session as after cutting chicken was stirring alot on the stove. Stir fried chicken was on the menu with a veggie option with tofu. The woks were battered with all this stirring. Desserts was also being made : the usual apple struddle!!Roberta helped the team prepare the tables in the serving area.
Ealing Soup Kitchen is a registered charity set up to help the vulnerable and homeless in the area. Nine local churches support our faith-based Soup Kitchen, which has been running since 1973.
