As the Big Black clouds descended over Bath at just the wrong time, the runners arrived ready

At Goodgym Bath and tonight's 8k run up to OddDown cycle circuit is sure not to disappoint an eager 15 runners.

tonight during warm up and congratulations to Alison who raced two marathons at the weekend. Bad Boomerang news!! Steph was back in action although pace was a bit hindered this evening so was happy to back mark whilst the lovely Pascale lead the group.

Up Up and Away they Went and trust me it's some elevation to get to the top.

A few chances to regroup on route with a variety of exercises to keep the group focused and happy. The seated squats went down especially well this evening... Hmmm maybe!! Lots of loops tonight keeping the front runners on their toes.

Felix was there to meet and greet us with an explanation of the various ability cycles and sessions available at the circuit, so accessible to all.

The Task

to tidy up and organise the cramped storage crates, as you can imagine each session involves some kind of organisation getting bikes in and out whilst being aware of safety and hazards. We split into two groups with the cyclist amongst us doing some puncture repairs and the remainder emptying and reorganising the bike stores. How Felix ever knows what should go where, but has to be said it looked good when we'd finished.

Steph supplied the group with some French treats to reward their efforts after working that hill, as they say

Plus it was a nice steady run back down to the leisure centre but the

black clouds descended and the race was on to beat the ice storm, Great balls of ice we failed... Arghhh!! I don't think I've ever had brain freeze from running.
