After a short run down from Hope street to Park Lane (I forgot to use starva - sorry!) we were met by Elaine who is working with urbangreenup. The project has a number of sights around Liverpool for experimental planting that is resistant to climate change.

The planting on the sight on park lane is designed to attract pollinators, but has become overgrown with some unwanted plants! After a whistle stop lesson on what is a weed and what isn't, we got to work.

In the end, (despite a couple of hiccups with tearing bags and identifying weeds!) we cleared 25 bags of weeds from the sight and (hopefully) gave the beautiful flowers a little more space to breath. Well done team!
