Report written by Sevan
After 3 earlier elemental tasks, K&S TV Fitters were deployed to Mrs N, who was worried about her TV efficiency. Only 50% of the TVs in her living room had fire in their boilers, powering up to show her favourite programmes. She wanted to dial this up to 100%, so Kash and Sevan were deployed to remove Mrs N's faulty TV set.
The old TV easily lifted off the wall bracket and surprisingly, had had it's power cable cut through. There was no reviving that set. The new TV was the same size, so the pair tried to mount it onto the existing bracket, but the bolts needed were different sizes. Mrs N produced a bucket full of screws that her late husband had collected, none of which were the right size either.
The decision was made to leave the new TV freestanding and remove the wall bracket as it was no longer useful. This had the unexpected benefit that Mrs N could now rehang the photo of her with her husband on the wall above the TV ❤️.
Mrs N had another TV related problem. Her Freeview Play box had gone on the blink over the last week. It still recorded the detective dramas and soaps that she loved to watch, but there was no sound when playing them back. After some puzzling about how everything worked together, Kash made sense of the warning shown on the TV and reseated the loose power adaptor in the socket. The sound of murderous villains returned to her recordings and Mrs N was happy again.
All that was left to do was drop the old TV and bracket in the refuse area of the block and leave Mrs N to an exciting night of entertainment 🔥.
