Our group run last night was on the very first day of December, which can only mean one thing....the holiday season is well and truly underway! We kicked it off with a very jolly task indeed, although it didn't start out quite as smoothly as we had hoped.

Our job for the evening was to write as many tags as we could for the That's A Wrap charity, an organisation which makes sure every child living in poverty in Hounslow receives a gift this Christmas. They would like all the presents to have a hand written label, so we arranged to meet Saba, the founder, at the Town Hall to pick up the tags. Unfortunately, traffic conspired against us, so we had to change our plans and source some new tags. Just a few minutes and a sprinkling of Christmas magic later and we were happily installed at the local church, another task location which had been kindly loaned to us for the night, with coloured pens, stamps and ribbons at the ready.

We had even more to celebrate with Claire's amazing 50th good deed - fabulous work, give her a cheer!

There were messages of joy, super cute drawings, festive design and brilliant stamps - the children will love reading them on Christmas day (and we loved the indoor task!). Well done elves!

After a very short run back we debated fitness (next week we'll have a festive fitness session) and what we most love about the run up to Christmas. Our favourites are watching the decorations go up, eating ALL the food, Christmas movies (but not Die Hard), mince pies, no mince pies, pigs in blankets and seeing friends and family. Happy days.
