** Helping out Haviland House**

On a chilly but bright evening we were delighted to return to Haviland House for the first time since Dec 2019 when we did our wonderful and memorable Christmas carol singing event.

This time, with no singing involved, we had a new challenge. We had to make the outdoor garden furniture party ready for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

John had sanding power tools that he had helpfully brought along which were so very useful. Tamsin came along with our mini superstar Jemmie and with their help and a bit of elbow grease the rest of us including Paul and Sue together with HH Paul managed to sand down all the chairs, benches and table. Amazingly we also had time to stain them too !

A happy , sociable task with a wealth of chatting resulted in a lovely feel good vibe to precede the wonderful Jubilee celebrations that were to follow.

Next week its, guess what?, another sociable one ! We are praying for warmth for our drinks and BBQ on the green from 7pm at the park run finish area. If you can make the task then its 6pm at Bugcycle.

Hope to see as many of you there. BYO favourite tipple and food.

For some reason the GG platform wont let me upload any more photos !
