Saturday 31st October
Report written by Paul B (he, him, me duck)
There were three of us out picking litter in Lewisham (and Greenwich) this week.
Adi welcomed a misty morning in Sydenham's Mayow Park and left the park a lot nearer to litter free before the sun finally broke through.
Ivar was on his way to volunteer at Charlton parkrun and made some big inroads into one of the paths alongside the A2 in Kidbrooke which are always pretty grim. One of his stranger 'finds' was a bag of lemons!
Paul squeezed in his regular monthly litter pick alongside the Quaggy in Kidbrooke's Sutcliffe Park, clad in wellies as the area gets quite muddy. The river had flooded since his previous visit so there was lots of muddy litter to pick up along with more golf balls than normal, presumably from the courses up stream in Bromley.
Lewisham
Do good in our wonderful borough
