While Millfield school had seen the end of the school day, the Goodgymmers crept in to continue the work we started in the summer holidays, creating a woodland area for the children to learn about nature and have fun. We were greeted with a mound of woodchip right next to the start of the woodland trail.

The team were straight to work filling the wheel barrows with woodchip and laying the woodland trail path, Mel did great job flattening the path with her sweeping brush. Meanwhile Tommo was placing bird boxes he had made in secret locations for the school children to try and spot them through the trail, there's 4 to search for.

Lindsay did an amazing job cutting back more branches, some with berries that we thought could be a risk with kids. We also litter-picked a bag and Nick played curling with Ashley, she swept as he wheel borrowed more woodchip making him go faster, teamwork!

Before we knew it the day was drawing in on us, 3 quarters of the way through the mound, it was home time. Weldone team fantastic efforts all round, deffinatly some strength work ticked off this evening.
