Jen, Vicki, Mel and I (with Tess) litter-picked around the edge of Hilsea Creek.

Mel brought her fishing nets to help pick rubbish out of the water. There were far too many small pieces of plastic at the edge of the water for us to be able to collect it all, but we managed to leave the paths and the grass areas clear of litter.

After 45 minutes of busy-ness, dark clouds filled the sky and the rain began to fall. Tess and I dived into the car, leaving the other 3 to get home on foot through the rain!
