4 crafty GG Yorkies got together to attend a Kinusaiga workshop: the japanese craft of "quilt painting". Our workshop host had some pre-prepared patterns to get us started, as well as some blank sheets of paper for the braver participants to create their own.

• Amy honed in on a maple leaf pattern to celebrate her Canadian heritage
• Jane celebrated her love of camping with a campsite scene
• Ellie was brave and designed her own
• Leanne took a pre-drawn landscape and edited it to incorporate a famous mountain that she recently climbed (but has barely mentioned since)

Our two hours flew by with most of us finishing our artwork. Amy had chosen a more intricate design, which she didnt quite finish, so she grabbed some takeaway fabric to finish it off later.

We stopped off at the shop to buy some craft supplies on the way to the pub so that Amy could finish her work over a celebratory pint.
