When Frenford food bank said they needed help clearing the decks for a large delivery during daytime hours Linda immediately thought of recruiting her fellow semi-retiree and organiser extraordinaire AJ.

Knowing it was an all hands on deck situation AJ and Linda both arrived with long suffering spouses in tow. The four of got on with putting out the older stock from the store and sorting the newer deliveries to put in storage.

Just as we were finishing another delivery came in. With Ed doing a lion share of the lifting and shifting of sorted goods to the store room the rest of us finished sorting the new delivery. AJ did her usual neat job of tea/coffee corner the other two did a passable if less exacting job of the meat shelves. All in all everything was cleared and neatly organised within the alloted time which just left Linda to take home and sort out the old carrier bags for reuse.
