It's good to get your jobs finished off before breaking for the festive season and we managed to do that tonight!

We welcomed Elena's housemate Meg along for her first GoodGym good deed, give her a cheer! And well done for walking to the task from work and then on home, some good mileage on foot there! Also great to have Michaela along again for her second consecutive week.

Two tasks in one tonight. Dave, Elena, Michaela and Huw managed to finish off staining the wooden sleepers along from Belgrave Lock to the Tiger Bridge that we had started just before the latest lockdown last month. Meanwhile, Lindsay, Meg, Mel, Stu and Tracey headed up along the water and over on to National Cycle Network Route 6 on a litter pick.

Great to get the jobs complete with just enough woodstain to complete the job. Hopefully in the new year we'll move back to the other side of the water and get stuck into the section down towards Abbey Park.

A bonus litter pick and social run on Saturday morning at Braunstone Park and then our final task before Christmas next Tuesday, check out the listings and sign up. Dave wins the prize for Optimist of the Year asking if we could go to the pub after next Tuesday's task if we get put into Tier 1 after this week's review. Good luck with that one Dave!

Well done everyone!
