On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, Mat and Pauline headed to the home of a lovely family in need of a spot of help in their garden.

What was once a well tendered and orderly space, had become covered in ivy, trailing brambles caused trip hazards and garden ornaments lay hidden beneath ten years worth of growth.

With loppers, secateurs, two green bins and some heavy duty garden waste bags, we set about cutting, chopping, clearing and tidying: unearthing long forgotten toys, potted plants and a whole range of interesting garden ornaments...

At first, we couldn’t see the wood for the trees, but after two hours hard labour, this ‘secret garden’ started to emerge, hopefully to become a beautiful space and safe haven for this special family to enjoy once more.
