Another warm Saturday and 3 of us headed towards the Lido to help out with keeping the grounds maintained whilst they are closed this year. Maura and Jo met en route to the Lido and Lynn hot footed it from distributing leaflets in Southsea earlier that morning. Once we arrived Paul had already planned what we were doing and we started to remove the Ivy and brambles that was starting to grow from the bottom of the fence across the path at the rear of the Lido. We then gathered up all the cuttings and took them round to the compost heap on the other side. By the end of our time there we managed to clear away around 9 bin loads which was pretty good for 3 people.

Paul kindly provided hot drinks and biscuits and we charged ourselves up before heading back for the rest of our Saturday.

We're back there for the next 4 weeks so keep a look out in case any spaces come up.
