With a longer run this week, the group gathered earlier than normal at Glass Mill ready to tackle the hilly route to Baring Road Allotments. This was a brand new task for us, the team are trying to being abandoned allotment sites back to life and create a community garden.

Our task for the eve was to cut back the brambles and cut down the bamboo which will be used for bamboo canes in the community garden.

Everyone got stuck into their task and it wasn't long before that space was looking clearer but another space was full of bamboo that needed trimming down.

It was all hands on deck to carry the bamboo to another part of the garden!

Happy Birthday to Louise who was continuing her streak of volunteering on her birthday which started at a GG task and also congrats to Kerry who completed her 100th good deed - amazing achievement!!

Thank you to Paul for leading the group to and from the task! And Oli for the punspiration!
