Harvey, Kash, Judy and Sevan met for the last Slow Ways walk of the current batch. Today we were walking from Ealing Broadway to Richmond and with the clouds just about resisting the urge to soak us. It was great to welcome Harvey to his first Ealing Slow Ways walk.

The route started similarly to our first Slow Ways from Ealing to Chiswick, heading south towards Gunnersbury Park. This time we skirted around the outside of the park, avoiding the football matches (yay!) and dogs (boo!).

As we neared the A4, we lost one of our party. We don't know what happened to Harvey and maybe we never will. When the lights went green, the rest of us rushed across the road towards Brentford Community Stadium, then when we looked back, he was gone! Maybe he went to a car dealership, maybe to buy a BrentFord FC strip or maybe to watch his son play football...

We crossed Kew Bridge and then took the back roads through most of Kew, including past some very expensive looking houses with fancy cars out front. When we got closer to Richmond Roundabout, our way became busier and noisier again as we joined the main road. This didn't last too long as we were close to our destination though, Richmond Station.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable route and along the way we'd chatted about upcoming travel, car crashes and lifestyle changes amongst other things.
