Mr G was feeling low when I met him today. After I came back with his groceries, I asked how he was today and what was troubling him, then stayed for a chat as usual. Believe it or not, after a few minutes (and after me saying something silly), Mr G had his smile back! He was astonished himself that the simple chat with me managed to make him even laugh.

Mr G said he often feels lonely and doesn't have many visitors. He always looks forward to the weekly GoodGym visit and sees our missions as massive well-being boosters rather than a shopping service. Over the past months, Mr G built connections with a few of us who support him regularly. Today, he talked appreciatively about every single GoodGymer who visited him - it was super motivating, so I wanted to share it with other Mr G's helpers - great work, team!
