Good Gym Camden received a referral asking for leaflet distributors. The less-well off in the local community needed to know about a new free meal and social being offered at Saint Pancras Community Association.

We concentrated on a local council estate, and with the assistance of a kindly resident who had a key to the upstairs flats, we distributed all the leaflets we were supplied with, before rewarding ourselves with a vegan Sunday roast at Granary Square.

FoodCycle Camden
Volunteers take surplus food from retailers and transform this into a weekly, three-course meal for all the community.

Teams rescue surplus food from retailers and turn this in to a tasty meal in various locations around the country each week. Our aims are to reduce food waste and to bring people together reducing social isolation and food poverty. Free to eat, no registration required!
