A regular GoodGymer joined our friends at VGCC to help serve local residents at the food bank. The session came with an unexpected highlight when one customer arrived with a tiger in tow, cue a few renditions of Eye of the Tiger! While the tiger grabbed the attention, it was the 106 people we helped support that left the biggest impression, a stark reminder of how many people are relying on food banks during difficult times. A valuable morning of community spirit, kindness and practical support. 💚🐯🥫🏃♀️

Vauxhall Foodbank provide short term food support to families and individuals in crisis. We help them out by sorting food collected from local supermarkets into categories and making sure it is correctly weighed. This task is the dream for all lovers of neatness and order. Feel the calm wash over you as all the tins get sorted and put away. The work we do here would take the voluntary staff hours to do by themselves. We get everything bang tidy in 20 mintes.
