Four GoodGymers arrived at the Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre to help take in their usual delivery from Felix, but unfortunately the van did not arrive in the time they were there.
Instead, we packed up some bread, donuts, and cabbage, that’s now ready to get picked up!

This was a nice opportunity helping unload and sort the food delivery and Vauxhall CC. I met some lovely people, too.

The session began with the distribution of a giant slab of marge. Less slicing, more lumberjacking. The delivery arrived and a huge load of food was unpacked and stored away.

I was joined by Maiti on her first GG session! Welcome Maiti and hope this is the first session of many. While waiting for the delivery we were cutting and packing bread and packed lentils ready for clients tomorrow.

As I had some free time, I decided to make the short trip to the Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre (VGCC) with other committed volunteers to help with the food donations for the weekly foodbank.
As we waited for the latest delivery, we started to sort and arrange current food stocks. This included cutting up bread, packing pastries and sorting out vegetables.
When the delivery arrived from the Felix Trust, we sorted and stored the delivery ready in time for the Foodbank to open.
