Today, three Goodgymers assisted the regular volunteer team at Vauxhall foodbank with unpacking, sorting, bagging and packing food donations in preparation for the shop on Friday.

This mission is a hands-on experience where we receive and prepare provisions to share with those in need. Today, as we kick off the Easter Holiday Weekend, it was heartwarming to see so many people come through. Their gratitude for the support they received was truly uplifting, reminding us of the impact we can have in making a difference during this special time.

Despite the food donation (FD) delivery van being delayed for a considerable amount of time, this did not damped the spirits of the volunteer team, even when a volunteer said they were a Tottenham Hotspur fan. 😱 Once the delivery was received, the volunteer team of five, including two Goodgymers got to work by sorting, packing and stacking, in an efficient and dynamic manner just like Arsenal did with Real Madrid. Great team work by everyone involved.
