Four intrepid runners braved windy conditions and questionable smells - that's the weather and not a surprising takeaway - to help out at Tottenham Green. What with the gales and strewn trigs, our fab four were feeling more like flailing pirates. There may even have been references to a certain Michael Jackson song...

Replaced by a dog due to GIF shortages

Meanwhile, some of us had to resort to unorthodox methods to keep things (not)rolling.

Foot in a bucket

We litter picked the grass verge, chasing down escapee plastic wrappers and sorting out a full bucket for the recycling bin. Forks and spades ready, we started the next task - planting some spiky cuttings that will grow into even spikier plants. This is to deter people from using the area as an (ahem) impromptu bathroom.

Toiletmageddon averted, we moved on to planting more cuttings and some periwinkles in the larger flower bed near the high road. These filled in some gaps around the edges and middle of the flower bed, making the green look even better during Spring. You might say it's all coming up smelling of roses.
