Charlotte and I met outside Mrs Js property in the pouring rain on a very chilly evening and luckily for us we received a very warm welcome. Mrs Js phone had not been working for 3 weeks, which made her anxious as she couldn’t contact her brother. After a couple of false starts, you know turn it off and back on again, pull the cord out and plug it back in we collaborated with Mrs J and gave her broadband provider a call. We found out their was a fault on the line. Whilst chatting with Mrs J we noticed she was paying a large monthly bill so told her to ask the provider to check she was on the best tariff for her usage, she wasn’t and they were happy to switch to a better deal for her. The engineers should be out within 48 hours and hopefully then Mrs J will be back in phone contact with her brother. I feel tonight’s session really has had a big impact for Mrs J and she was very grateful for our assistance. We asked Mrs J to take a photo of us and she took a cheeky selfie of herself first!
